A walk through the woods can become a childhood memory, a lesson about wildlife, or a welcome break from a busy week. In Erie, Pennsylvania, Asbury Woods gives our community a place to enjoy those experiences while protecting the natural spaces that make them possible.

Starting this October, Sitter Insurance and Rutkowski Insurance are supporting Asbury Woods through our referral program. For every referral received, our agency will donate $10 to Asbury Woods, helping support its conservation, outdoor recreation, and environmental education work.

A PLACE TO EXPLORE AND CONNECT
Asbury Woods manages 234 acres of forests, wetlands, fields, and streams in northwestern Pennsylvania. Its preserved landscape includes old-growth forests, native species, gardens, and boardwalks, along with more than five miles of trails.

Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk, explore the Greenway Trail to Walnut Creek, or return in winter for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Both the trails and the Andrew J. Conner Nature Center are free to the public, with community support helping keep these spaces accessible.

HELPING CHILDREN DISCOVER THE NATURAL WORLD
For children, time outdoors offers opportunities to ask questions, notice details, and see how nature works beyond the pages of a textbook.

Asbury Woods brings environmental learning to life through school programs, summer nature camps, activities for community groups, and public events. These experiences give people of different ages opportunities to explore and build a greater understanding of the world around them. The organization reports reaching more than 100,000 people annually through recreation, festivals, education, and community outreach.

Behind each visit is ongoing work to care for the land, maintain trails, and provide meaningful learning experiences. Supporting Asbury Woods helps that work continue for the Erie community.

YOUR REFERRAL CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Our referral program gives you a simple way to help, but you can also support the organization directly through a donation or by exploring volunteer opportunities. Whether you give, volunteer, or send a referral our way, your participation can help preserve a place where our community learns, explores, and enjoys nature.
